HOW IT ALL CAME ABOUT... A LITTLE ABOUT US

Vintage Addiction came about from a desire to reunite our family -- it’s really that simple. My wife, Alesia, and our girls lived in Southern California to allow my daughter to pursue a dream while I worked and lived in Virginia to support it. After nearly seven years of bicoastal commuting every two weeks or so, we decided to make some changes. We had both done the large corporate gig for over 20+ years, but decided the next journey would be our own and on our own terms. We wanted to create something and give it life but along the way grow a company with a conscience. Our plans eventually evolved into the creation of the Vintage Addiction brand of high-quality costume jewelry, ladies’ handbags, furniture, and home accessories. Our designs include vintage- inspired creations; some use vintage components; many are repurposed designs with architectural salvage; and along our travels, we find some true vintage furnishings that are just too awesome in their beauty to pass up -- so we send them back to share with you.

In the process of sourcing suppliers and manufacturers for our designs, our travels take us to unexpected places and we look forward to sharing those travel stories with you.

We strive to be environmentally sensitive by creatively repurposing and also to be a corporate citizen who gives back. We are hands-on and spend lots of time individually- selecting every single component of certain products alongside our suppliers. (They aren’t always happy about that. LOL!) We wish to ensure our artisans make livable wages and are proud to set up scholarships to provide quality English language educations for their children. We know we can’t solve all the world’s problems (we wish we could) but we can do our part and hopefully improve the lives of the families we have come to know and cherish along our life’s journey.
